Kallie Plagge copy edits most of Polygon’s long-form content across games, entertainment, and culture, providing (hopefully) constructive feedback in the final step of the editing and publishing process. She started writing about games professionally in 2014, and later worked at GameSpot for four years, where she was the reviews editor, before joining Polygon in April 2022. She is known for her Pokémon expertise as well as her critical writing about games, which spans genres from RPGs to first-person shooters to whatever genre you think Death Stranding is.

Kallie served as a judge for the 2018 Crunchyroll Anime Awards, and in 2020, she was recognized as a representative of "the bright, bold and inclusive future of video games" in The Game Awards’ inaugural Future Class. You may remember her from such podcasts as GameSpot After Dark and IGN Anime Club... or from her guest appearances on such podcasts as Talking Simpsons and Retronauts.
