thats not the case i m pretty sure i am on 1.04 as well but it works for me try to re-install things maybe? and check to make sure you allow texture override in Sekiro Mod Engine currently i have no idea why it doesnt work for you :|
Hello Syphom2204, I was wandering how can I change color of the blade ? I'm searching so badly so I don't have to bother modders ahah. I love all the work here but sometimes I just want to change the color because I'm annoying and want to change styles . If you could help me it would be so great ! :)
you will need yabber and PS yabber the dcx file and then the tpf file, edit WP_A_0300_e.dds with PS hue and saturation corresponds to the color of glow, and brightness determines... well, the brightness
in conclusion yes, but i need more information since i dont have the reshaders installed, idk how much brightness would be normal it would be easier for both of us if you know how to use Photoshop and Yabber as you can adjust the glow to your liking nvm if you dont, maybe you can upload a picture here first
if you do, yabber the dcx file and then the tpf file, open WP_A_0300_e.dds with PS and tone down its levels (make it darker)
Oh... my bad. it seems like I've made a mistake, should've been more clear. I mean all the other metal parts to silver as well. but Im fine with this either way. Thanks
This one looks really good. If I may ask so, do you have any plans for creating a longer version, maybe something like this one https://www.nexusmods.com/sekiro/mods/436 or this one https://wwwnexusmods.com/sekiro/mods/239?
Thank you! It's not that difficult to do so, you can do it by yourself to any mod you like. First you will need to have yabber and flver editor. Then put wp_a_0300.partsbnd.dcx onto Yabber.exe and you should have a folder with the same name. Go to wp_a_0300-partsbnd-dcx/parts/Weapon/WP_A_0300 and you should see a several flver files. WP_A_0300.flver is the katana model and WP_A_0300_1.flver is the scabbard. Open the katana model with flver editor , click "Mesh" on the right hand side of the window. For the katana model, you should see 3 parts in the Mesh window, the last one is the blade. De-select the first 2 parts. You can click "check" to see which part is it. Below you have 3 mesh operations, tick the "scale" one only and then adjust the middle value while the other two should be set to 1. Let's say you set the middle value to 1.1 means you lengthen the blade to 1.1x and you get the logic. So if you think it's too long then try some numbers like 0.95. Click "Modify" to see the result. You should record the numbers you try here because later you will need to adjust the length of the scabbard as well, so you'd better make it the same After you are fine with the model, close the Mesh window and go to the Dummy window, then click "SekiroFix". This should fix the range problem. Remember to adjust the length of the scabbard model as well. The scabbard model only have one part so you dont need to de-select any thing. One last step, put your wp_a_0300-partsbnd-dcx (the folder) onto Yabber.exe again and there you will have a new wp_a_0300-partsbnd.dcx. You can follow the video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcXyABspyMM from 4:20 to 5:30. It showcases the mesh operations.
please download the glow material mod first: https://www.nexusmods.com/sekiro/mods/406 then put allmaterialbnd.mtdbnd.dcx into /mods/mtd Bloodborne and DS3 material pack are already in it so dont worry
