Well, the death kanji was successfully replaced, but the button UI was kinda busted too. I'm using a Switch Pro Controller and idk if its just that but it mixed up stuff like A for X and R for A... it was weird... if it wasn't for that it'd be perfect.
Just made it work for me... Do not copy and paste the folder named "mod" but open it and copy paste the folder inside it named "menu" into your mods folder!!!
Great job dude! Just one question if you don't mind me asking. How did you get the japanese text over Miyazaki's face during true death to be distinct from the outline? I can't seem to figure that out
Hi, dvaofficial ! You can unpack Sekiro with UMX and unpack \menu\hi\01_common.tpf.dcx with Yabber. There should be a texture file named SB_TextEffect.dss . Open it with Photoshop and the Intel Texture Works Plugin. You'll notice that in the top left corner of the image, there's a larger death character, and in the bottom left corner, there's a smaller death character. The lower left corner one is the image of a real death, and what I've done here is put Miyazaki's face in the upper left corner and put the Japanese text in the bottom left corner. You can also unpack my files and see how this works. I hope it is helpful for you :D
