Ohhh. For a moment I freaked out. I thought I uploaded wrong file again :P Anyways you can join Testdata server in Discord https://discord.gg/bgKJuwZ that's probably the official modding server for Sekiro. You can ask your problems there :)
I'm actually already on that server, just figured it might have been a quick answer here lol. I'll be sure to ask there when I feel like taking facepaint on :D. Thanks tho!
Well, if you opened it with paint.net then it will be something different. Try to open it with Photoshop. There's a dds plug-in available in Github for PS. It will show you the proper texture. And for beginners, I have some tips, apply different colors into different places. You can see which part is assigned to which part. happy modding
I'm pretty familiar with the process actually and I use photoshop for all my texture modifying. When I open that file you mention, all I see is wolf's beard area and two gradient red stripes on the cheeks, but the stripes are very opaque lol
Found it! Thanks for the suggestion. I actually had to check the "Load Transparency as Alpha Channel" checkbox. Do you need to save it in a special way than the usual for textures?
