In just one year since its release, I’m proud to see StarCoder – our open-access model with Hugging Face – recognized as the most transparent LLM for developers and end users by Stanford University's Foundation Model Transparency Index. Congratulations to the teams behind this collaboration, and thank you for your leadership in advancing responsible and transparent AI. 

Another year at ServiceNow Knowledge in the books! From insightful sessions to exciting innovations, last week was exceptional. I was honored to join Bill McDermott’s opening keynote, where Joe Davis and I unveiled the latest GenAI expansions to the Now Platform. The next day, in one of my personal highlights of the week, my amazing team and I presented our AI keynote and roadmap, diving deeper into what's to come in our intelligent platform. During the AI keynote, we delved into the practical implementation of our Now Assist GenAI capabilities with an incredible customer, TRIMEDX, and demonstrated how businesses can use our technology to unlock productivity and extraordinary experiences. Speaking of great experiences, we also gave two lucky audience members VIP tickets to our Pitbull concert! It was an inspiring week in Vegas, filled with demos, labs, and in-depth discussions that showcased how the Now Platform is delivering truly actionable AI to power business transformation. Today at Knowledge 2024, ServiceNow announced an expanded strategic alliance with Microsoft, bringing the power of two generative AI assistants into one seamless, intelligent enterprise solution.     Building on years of partnership, we’re now integrating Now Assist with Microsoft Copilot to create a more holistic, connected experience – making it easier than ever before for enterprise workers to get the information they need, when they need it.    Now Assist and Copilot for Microsoft 365 will intuitively interact to meet employees where they are, enabling a smarter way of working.     This expanded partnership represents a new, exciting chapter for GenAI as we transform how work happens – where GenAI assistants can cohesively interact to boost productivity and enhance the employee experience.    This integration will be generally available in Fall 2024. I'm excited to share that today, ServiceNow, Hugging Face, and NVIDIA released StarCoder2, a family of open-access LLMs for code generation that set new standards for performance, transparency, and cost-effectiveness. Created with the BigCode community, StarCoder2 prioritizes open governance to enable responsible innovation at scale. Just 300 days ago, we launched the original StarCoder, and today’s news underscores ServiceNow’s ongoing commitment to advancing open-source AI innovation that benefits everyone.
