A recap of a successful USISPF Board Delegation visit to India. The delegation consisted of senior business executives, former diplomats, and retired military leaders, who met with cabinet ministers, the U.S. Ambassador to India, and with senior bureaucrats in New Delhi. Conversations and a series of focused discussions across increased climate financing, stronger trade ties, investments in critical and emerging technology to fortify our defenses, and a reminder of the strong cultural bonds that help forge this strategic partnership between Washington and New Delhi, to make it the most consequential partnership of the 21st century. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision, there are increased investments in infrastructure to help India achieve its full economic goal and reality of a $5 trillion economy. India is constantly improving the ease of doing business environment to create a favorable investment climate for investors. Enhanced trade and investments with regional trading partnerships and priority to deepen the trade engagement between Washington and New Delhi. Both the U.S. and India share common goals on climate financing, restoring and creating resilient new supply chains, and working towards a more egalitarian world with a stronger voice for the global south.
