Oracle’s most established rivals, DoubleVerify and #IAS are expected to gain the most from this scramble. “They’ll probably be licking their lips at the moment in terms of picking up that business,” said Jonathan D'Souza-Rauto, biddable product lead at media agency Kepler. For their part, both DoubleVerify and IAS are keeping their cards close to their chest.

A big news in the Martech sector is the decision of Oracle to exit the sector. Some considerations and hidden messages. - In reality Oracle is exiting the #Adtech so the space of solutions/platforms/tech associated to the activation, optimization and control of advertising spending ( with revenues normally associated to a percentage of the adv spending) while #marketing Oracle solutions ( CRM,CDP,CX, …) will remain on the market with their SaaS license models which were always the core - the move follows the increased risk associated with new technology adtech tech stack ( e.g. cookie deprecation) and regulatory environment not present in traditional SaaS models - Oracle will no probably be a possible exit option for adtech at scale players - Oracle will probably more and more reinforce its focus and #acquisition options in marketing automation solutions now under an epical transformation driven by #Ai, #RPA, #bigdata Those trends are the core of our investment portfolio at BlackSheep Fund : Saas solutions to transform marketing with technology

The digital landscape is evolving rapidly, and with it, the importance of robust data infrastructure. According to Winterberry Group's Annual Outlook 2024, businesses increased their investment in #datainfrastructure by an impressive 11.3% in 2023. This trend is not just a fleeting surge but a clear indicator of sustained growth through 2024 and beyond. For companies navigating this expansion, the need for efficient #databasemanagement is more critical than ever. It has been estimated that most enterprises need to use 4-7 different service providers to cover their distributed corporate footprint. This factor alone makes moving data across these environments very complex and costly. That's where Verge Technologies steps in with our innovative SentientDB platform. Leveraging the power of patent pending #ML and #AI, with powerful automation, SentientDB manages all your enterprise databases within and across all cloud and compute environments as if they were in one datacenter. It is installed in your environment and provides a database management layer across your footprint and provides your company with absolute Cloud Convergence, that is…managing many clouds as one cloud. We do this while optimizing the performance and mobility of all your database assets in real-time with no downtime and 100% transaction consistency. These capabilities enable businesses to harness their data's full potential with ease and confidence. As investment in data infrastructure continues to climb, the role of intelligent database management platforms like #SentientDB becomes indispensable. With Verge Technologies at the forefront, we're excited to empower businesses to thrive in this data-driven future. https://lnkd.in/gmn8Ed_i

Just before the 4th of July, some big news came out that Oracle would be shutting down its advertising division.
