Jen is exceptional. Someone once gave me some advice on hiring when building a start-up; the best lens to look through when evaluating someone's probation performance is simply "Would I enthusiastically work with this person again?" In general, it cuts through the noise nicely and provides a very simple answer. In Jen's case I assure you - it is a resounding "YES!" Startup founders, if you're looking for an organised, sensible person to manage your chaos, look no further. Established companies, if you're looking for a cultural pillar who will grow those around them organically, look no further. That's a wrap! Carebears have left the Valley. Thank you to everyone that worked so hard to deliver this collaboration. Huge shout out to Cloudco Entertainment ( Ian Lambur and Myles Hobbs ) for giving us such creative freedom and trusting us to deliver something quality. And a big fist bump to Mitch Sabine and Layer for helping us throughout the process. Things we learned when licencing our first IP 🤝 Trust is super important between all parties. There is a lot of risk, so it's important this is a relationship you intend on building over time. 🎯 Details! The devil is always in the details - both contractually & commercially; plan to spend a LONG time getting aligned, getting stuff signed off & working out what works well. You've gotta know the IP inside out! ✨ UGC & IP collabs are the future! By letting our users mix our content with Carebears content, they created truly wonderful & unique things. This is absolutely the future we see & are most excited by. 📈 The engagement was huge; our community absolutely loved the collaboration and it really set the bar for all our future content! We'll be doing this again for sure Netspeak Games has been through a lot this year and I want to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of those no longer with us on this journey. I'm proud of everyone that worked on this & it's so lovely seeing everyone going on to do really well and land amazing new opportunities. We've got big swings and new partnerships in the works, so watch this space 👀
