It's time for the annual walk along the Croisette to see who's where in Cannes. You all know I'm a huge fan of of OOH & activations so this is - perhaps quite literally - my Superbowl (if the Superbowl were played by advertisers for advertisers). What's old & what's new this year? 1/ MNTN are back with their classic wraparound across from the Palais & are joined by Criteo's banner opposite the Splendid. Rounding out Team Across the Street are the iHeartRadio Cafe and Samba TV, Scope3, The New York Times, OpenX, Kargo, Business Insider, and Quad out on 3 Bd. de la Croisette. Like every year, lots of construction everywhere & thus lots of posters of film festivals of yore & squeezing by various barriers. 2/ On the Palais itself we have Teads returning, followed by Klaviyo who are I think new this year, Braze, Madhive, RTL Group, TransUnion, Rokt, and Stagwell. The red carpet is also there. 3/ A few highlights of individual spaces: Amazon's Port is this year A'Maison & judging by the look and size of that stage something to really look forward to. VideoAmp has built a village and wins with those inflatable blue sofas. Instacart is here next to McDonald's McFlurry truck (a hit last year) & Turkish Airlines landed perhaps unexpectedly but with aplomb (with what looks to be a Refik Anadol installation somewhere in the booth). 4/ At the Majestic, it's mostly Adobe this year - highlighting individual creators on their platform. The brand red looks great on top and around the Majestic's facade. 5/ Yacht Row is significantly shorter this time around but represented well with Samsung Electronics, Criteo, Magnite, DoubleVerify, Equativ , Cognitiv, Warner Bros.
