JOB SUMMARY
The candidate will have a proven successful track record in technology sales or similar services. Candidates need to display in-depth practical knowledge of IT, managed services, VoIP phone systems, and preventative IT maintenance. Must be able to adapt to a growing customer base and a dynamic technical atmosphere. Must have a "Client First" attitude and be able to present in front of board members, CEOs, and owners of enterprise-level corporations. Must be able to communicate extremely well and be able to explain technical items to people with little to no knowledge of IT.
The candidate will join our IT Sales team. Your sales will include managed services, hardware, software, VoIP phone service, and other network/PC-related services and support. Candidates are responsible for driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the engineering team as the key technical advisor and product advocate.
The Sales Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
QUALIFICATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB DUTIES
Ability to work and communicate with others
Dependable transportation
Must be able to lift 25 lbs. frequently, 50 lbs. occasionally, and 50+ lbs. with assistance
Knowledge and understanding of computer and server (Network) hardware and software systems
Familiar with Microsoft Operating Systems Both PC and Server OS
Ability to understand the maintenance needs, upgrade or replacement needs of hardware and software systems
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures
Responsible for the development and delivery of product demonstrations
Responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs and other bidding processes
Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
Supports and maintains user account information including pre and post-sales (continued customer service)
Perform Service Sales & Upgrades when needed
Good business writing skills
Experience working with Windows machines
Perform other duties as assigned
Establishes new accounts & services accounts by identifying potential customers
