Description
Amazon Worldwide Real Estate Growth and Development (WWRGD) is looking for a Program Manager with retail design or construction experience and proven project management record to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional and technology projects within the Worldwide Grocery Stores (WWGS) network. This is a key role to the execution and management of building the retail store network. It will be the primary POC with business leaders and provide project support and coordination with WWRGD Design, Construction, Finance, and Capital Planning teams. The role will create project plans, develop processes, drive execution, and manage communication to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes.

Basic Qualifications
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Key job responsibilities
- Manage new and existing programs, successfully delivering projects for the assigned portfolio
- Work directly with external providers, customers, and partner teams to craft and deliver scalable solutions
- Partner with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones and drive delivery
- Own program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers (e.g., path to green), escalating as appropriate
- Influence design and development of strategic processes
- Innovate to improve processes and continuously remove cost from our launches and operation
- Work with program managers and business leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives
- Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects and using this data to drive/influence business decisions
- Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
