Description
The Private Brand Product Safety and Compliance (PBPSC) team protects our customers, the environment, and Amazon by ensuring safe and compliant Private Brands products. This begins upstream, where our technical experts advise on product-level requirements and the impact of new regulations by defining testing protocols for our Private Brand businesses. Midstream, our program enablement team utilizes tools from the technology ecosystem to build processes that enable new product launches and market expansion. To measure our effectiveness, our downstream “post-launch” teams conduct independent audits of product compliance and monitor and investigate reported customer concerns.
The Private Brands Product Safety and Compliance Team is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to join our organization. The person in this role will be responsible for the development and execution of our Audit Readiness program, as part of our ongoing commitment to compliance health and excellence. This program is newly developed and will serve to substantiate that Private Brands can uphold a level of excellence when it comes to protecting customers and ensuring Amazon PB products are safe and compliant. You will partner and consult with our policy and intelligence, operations, quality, legal, and business partner teams to develop strategies, set objectives, define requirements, and implement sustainable and systemic solutions to deliver on long term program goals.
