Summary Of Position

The Senior, Client Executive is responsible for all strategic and functional management of client relationship(s).  Develops executive level relationships with employer accounts and Telehealth, Product, Clinical, Sales, and Account teams. Leads successful implementation, servicing, utilization support, and upselling.  Drives business partner solutions, product strategy, and revenue growth.   

Employs consultative and strategic account leadership. Develops retention strategies, including contract renewal, product expansion, and new market development.  Responsible for measuring and relaying impact and value, including ROI, cost avoidance, population health management, and member wellness.  

Responsible for client satisfaction. Mobilizes and motivates company internal resources to resolve client issues, streamline processes, and maximize profit. Works closely with Marketing leadership to drive utilization within various Lines of Business within the employer organization.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management 
    • Manage all client touchpoints and maintain historical retention targets, including annual renewals, key relationship changes, upsells, and fee renegotiation. 
    • Exhibit thought leadership and deep understanding of the client landscape, including cost containment strategies, engagement, utilization, client requirements, market drivers, and buying cycles. 
    • Perform account review meetings and calls to communicate value creation, reporting, project status, and outstanding issues. 
    • Coordinate strategy and issue resolution with Finance, Operations, Data Transfer, Legal, Product, and IT Develop deep knowledge and actively seek current information about client’s organizational structure, products, services, and markets. 
    • Evaluate, approve, and manage special projects/requests, including but not limited to, determining feasibility of request, resource utilization, and ownership of project completion.  
    • Provide internal management information to assist in the updating of monthly forecasts and billing Develop relationships with clients to support clients use for reference, speaker, and media requests. 
    • Develop and communicate key performance metrics with Teladoc leadership. 
    • Demonstrate capacity to manage changing priorities and ambiguity while remaining calm and controlled. 
  • Revenue Generation 
    • Identify growth opportunities across portfolio via additional lines of business and upselling. 
    • Direct renewal activities. 
    • Drive increase utilization across all lines of business.  
  • Development 
    • Exhibit and develop strategic account management skills. 
    • Dedicated to the success of team and peers, and demonstrate willingness to train/mentor. 
    • Demonstrate a strong ability to work in cross-functional teams.  
    • Drive performance to meet team and company goals.  
    • Use company systems, such as Salesforce, Admin, Redmine, and Cognos.
Qualifications Expected For Position

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10 or more years in Client Management, ideally servicing large to mid-size employers.
  • Demonstrate poise and grace under pressure. 
  • Ability to command the presence of others. 
  • Relatable and authentic, engage in a strategic conversation while aligning pragmatic solutions. 
  • Higher than average sense of urgency with a keen interest in driving results.  
  • Exceptional relationship building & problem-solving skills.

The base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $115,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2024. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
