Location: 100% Remote (USA)

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Identity Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in information management and security roles, with a strong focus on identity engineering and product ownership. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within the USA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
  • Act as a product owner for IT or cybersecurity products, ensuring their successful development and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop IAM solutions.
  • Implement and manage authentication and authorization solutions within large enterprise environments.
  • Analyze and optimize authorization rule structures to ensure system performance.
  • Develop front-end components using frameworks such as Angular, React, and HTML5.
  • Utilize REST APIs and SQL/JDBC filtering with policy-based access techniques to manage data.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM-related issues.
  • Provide advanced problem-solving and analytical support.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in information management or information security roles.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in identity engineer roles.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a product owner of an IT or cybersecurity product.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Clear understanding of the large enterprise Identity and Access Management landscape, including the relationship between authentication and authorization.
  • Strong understanding of how authorization rule structures impact system performance.
  • Proficiency in front-end development frameworks such as Angular, React, and HTML5.
  • Firm understanding of REST API and SQL/JDBC filtering using policy-based access techniques for structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data models.
  • Demonstrable advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise IAM solutions and tools.
  • Knowledge of modern IAM protocols and standards (e.g., OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect).
  • Experience with cloud-based IAM solutions (e.g., AWS IAM, Azure AD).
