We are excited to be working with a leading global law firm to hire a newly created role at Senior Management level. The role will be operating within the corporate sector space and be part of the established US BD team, whilst also operating as part of a wider global team.


This opportunity has some really interesting aspects to it, including key account managing some of the firms highest revenue client base, alongside setting and managing the BD budget for this area. To support you in delivering on this role, you will also have the opportunity to manage a team based in the New York office.


Given the role is newly created, you will also have scope to enhance and develop the BD approach working very closely with the Global BD Director, who is also based in the New York office. This opportunity will give you the opportunity for lot’s of professional development and career growth from a mid-long term standpoint too.


We would like to speak with individuals who want to be part of the exciting expansion project and would encourage engagement from individuals who are current Senior Managers and those who are at BDM level seeking to take the next step up.


Overview of some duties included within the role;

  • Be the lead business development professional managing 3 of the firms highest value client accounts, working in tandem with the attorneys on enhancing the client service. You will also be involved in providing client listening responsibilities, in order to give feedback on service levels and provide recommendations back to the firm.
  • Working with the Business Development Director, devise and implement the groups marketing plans, keeping within the budget outline to the best ROI for the group.
  • Coach and develop the groups attorneys approach to Business Development, working with specific partners on tailored approaches and broader ideas to benefit the group.
  • Collaborate with peers in the wider global group, on specific campaigns and projects, ensuring there is a joined up approach on how the firm goes to market in different geographical locations.
