Work you'll do

We are looking for a Scrum Master for the GPS Garage Software Factory product team. You should have at least 1 full year of experience as a scrum master. In this role, you will interact throughout and across the delivery teams to drive the delivery and management of Software Factory products, documentation, and/or services tech challenge mini-engagements (Garage). A high level of comfort with software engineering best practices and cloud-native technology is critical for success in this role.

Qualifications

Required:

Coordinate and interact with team members including but not limited to internal clients, business analysts, software engineers, designers, testing, leadership and other cross-functional teams and staff

  • Demonstrating attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Assessing the impacts on technical design because of the changes in functional requirements.
  • Tracking the progress of release schedules across the project and generation/dissemination of a weekly project status report
  • Facilitating Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective ceremonies
  • Proactively managing and mitigating risks and issues across Scrum team- Facilitate agile ceremonies including; sprint planning/grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint retrospectives, and facilitate sprint demos
  • Manage the activities, user stories, tasks, and deliverables of application releases
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active TS/SCI Required
