With sensitivity to Navajo history and culture, we collaborated closely with the Atsá Biyáázh Community School to design an 18,705 sf single-story student residence that truly embodies the essence of their culture. This new facility, which includes a 6,000 sf outdoor recreation area, will provide a safe and welcoming place for 75 students to reside while attending school, removing obstacles to their educational opportunities. Galloway is providing comprehensive multidisciplinary design services for Aleut Federal, LLC. We were excited to partner with Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) for a stewardship project focused on trail maintenance at South Table Mountain in Golden, CO. Galloway helped create 150 feet of new hiking trail to support ecosystem recovery and promote a more sustainable path for hikers. The new Bluffdale Public Works facility is designed to meet the increasing needs of the community and support operational growth and services. This 35,000 sf facility will accommodate essential city services, including public works administration, fleet vehicle services, fuel storage and dispensing, facilities management, streets and water departments, and the parks and recreation department. Our team worked closely with city officials and local stakeholders to ensure the facility meets operational demands, enhances functionality, and integrates seamlessly with the community's surroundings.
