Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and network access control (NAC) systems.
Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design and deploy secure network architectures and solutions.
Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies in cybersecurity to continuously improve our security posture.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer or similar role, with a focus on designing and implementing security solutions.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and NAC systems.
Proficiency in security assessment tools and techniques, including vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, and CIS Controls.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
