Indoor Ambassador - Villas

Villas Indoor ambassador is responsible for checking-in/out villas guest. The ambassador will assist and provide efficient and friendly service to Villa’s guests.  This position is also responsible for coordinating any special guest requests, handling VIP’s, group arrivals, and following up on inquiries left by villas’ guests. They will be responsible for exemplifying the La Cantera Hill Country Resort Culture as well as promoting La Cantera Hill Country Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice!

 

Essential job duties:

  • Attending to all guest requests expediently and courteously and ensure completion of request.
  • Maintains a neat and orderly control desk and work area.
  • Consistently presents a polished and professional role model image to guests, coworkers, and other departments.
  • Complete job duties as listed on their shift checklist in a timely manner and alerts manager or supervisor if assistance is needed.
  • Coordinates checked out of rooms and out of order rooms with housekeeping.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
  • Always maintain positive guest relations.
  • Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain complete knowledge at all times of:
  •  
  • All hotel features/services, hours of operation
  • All room types, room numbers, resort layouts.
  • All room rates, special packages, and promotions
  • Daily house count and expected arrivals/departures.
  • Room availability status for any given day
  • Scheduled daily group activities.
  • Set up workstation with necessary supplies.
  • Promote positive guest relations to all individuals approaching the Front Desk.
  • Communicate services and amenities of the hotel to guests.
  • Direct Villas outdoor ambassador to escort guests and transport their luggage to the room.
  • Document all guest requests, complaints, and/or issues.
  • Process all check-outs.
  • Resolve any late charges.

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Fluency in English
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred.
  • At least one year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Flexible schedule
  • Excellent phone and verbal communication skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information in the property management computer system and POS
