Food Scientist I
We have an exciting opportunity to join a well-known food science company. As a food scientist you will be applying scientific principles conducting nutrition research for the development of programs to support product utilization.

Responsibilities
- Conduct product development of nutritional food supplements
- Develop custom formulas per customer specification
- Research methods to support development of new product and program concepts
- Evaluate raw materials for functionality and product quality
- Work independently and collaboratively with contract manufacturers
- Learn new food processing methods as applicable
- Compile new product cost analysis
- contribute innovative product and concept ideas
- Provide evaluation and recommendations
- Provide technical support to customer base
- Perform miscellaneous quality control duties
- Bachelor's degree in food science, nutrition or related field
- Minimum of one to four years of food industry experience
