Our client, a well-respected construction company, seeks an exceptional Controller to join their Accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Controller to join a long-standing organization. The ideal candidate should be collaborative and have experience in construction accounting.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$90k – $105k
Position Overview
The Controller will lead a cohesive Accounting department. This is a fast-paced and high-volume environment that provides extensive exposure to the business of construction.
Responsibilities Of The Controller
Managing all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger.
Coordinating the annual budgeting and planning process.
Administering and reviewing all financial plans for variance analysis.
Responsible for cost accounting, equipment management, and revenue recognition.
Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies.
Responsible for audits and compliance.
Supervising payroll and contract.
Participating in the hiring process, including interviewing and selecting candidates.
Overseeing the onboarding process for new employees to ensure smooth integration.
Qualifications For The Controller
Bilingual is a plus but not required.
Prevalent industry experience.
Strong technical skills.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred but not required.
