We are seeking an Associate Project Manager to join Amplify's Central Services PMO team, which leads programs and projects across the entire Supply Chain Organization. Reporting to the Senior Manager, PMO, you'll be pivotal in driving the success of multiple projects. This role presents an exciting opportunity for strong communicators passionate about developing their skills in project management and engaging with members of the organization at all levels and functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adopt and sustain PMO standards for planning and executing projects to completion.
  • Support project managers and department leadership with administrative components of projects and portfolio management.
  • Drive completion for all aspects of assigned projects from scope creation to delivery.
  • Coordinate cross-team planning and communication, managing handoffs between teams and stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain thorough project documentation, including project charters, plans, risk and change trackers, and status reports.
  • Lead project meetings, facilitating discussion and tracking takeaways for stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of experience in business project management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present information clearly.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently while also being a team player.
  • Leadership capability and ability to foster trust and collaborative partnership with stakeholders.
  • Proactive, and demonstrates initiative and strong self-management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cross-functional projects.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Experience with project management tools, such as Smartsheet, Trello, Microsoft Project, Jira.
  • Experience in the K12 educational technology or publishing sector, with an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within this domain.
  • Relevant certification such as CAPM, PMP, Agile CSM, or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Experience synthesizing large amounts of disparate information into concise, actionable, and impactful reports or other communications.

What We Offer

Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a lucrative 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross annualized salary range for this role is $60,000- $70,000.
