SALES CONSULTANT/REPRESENTATIVE - OFFICE & EDUCATIONAL FURNITURE

One of Maryland's leading corporate office furniture companies for over 25 years is seeking experienced salespeople to add to their growing team. This is a full-time position. Ideal applicants have industry experience to include office and/or educational furniture. Located in Towson and serving clients throughout Maryland, Washington D.C., Delaware and the surrounding Mid-Atlantic region.

This position responsibility includes but is not limited to sales, development of client proposals, working with design to create winning spaces, and assisting Project Management with overseeing sold projects. We are looking for individuals who are team players with a creative mind, great attitude and the ability to develop new accounts and sustain existing client relationships.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Associate’s and/or bachelor’s degree in business or interior design
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience with office and/or school furniture sales.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial furniture industry including systems furniture, case goods, educational and healthcare.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (including Word, Excel and Power Point). Experience/knowledge with 20/20 GIZA Studio, Team Design and ability to read blueprints is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to sell products and manage customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in client presentations and representing the company at industry related meetings, events and shows.
  • Ability to work closely with customers, architects, designers, and project managers to ensure customer satisfaction and strong company representation and relationships.
  • Detail-oriented individual with the ability to multitask and meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to work with multiple vendors, manufacturer representatives and subcontractors.
  • Enthusiastic team player with great communication skills
