“I have had the privilege of working closely with Stephanie for the last four and a half years in my capacity as a founding member and Chair of The African American Employee Resource Group at Synovus Bank. As my Co-Chair, I can confidently attest to Stephanie’s exceptional qualities and abilities. Throughout her time working as Co-Chair, Stephanie has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to her responsibilities and exhibited an exceptional level of relevant leadership skills and qualities that I think will serve any organization well. She possesses a remarkable ability to connect well with people of all backgrounds and the ability to find clarity in an ambiguous environment or with ambiguous directions. She has effectively employed this ability over the past four and a half years on numerous projects and tasks as a key member of the company Supplier and Diversity Group, and as my Co-Chair of The African American Employee Resource Group. Her dedication has led to cost savings for the bank by creating efficiencies within her department, and with helping to change policies within the bank to create a more diverse and inclusive work environment. Again, she has an innate ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely, while fostering a positive and productive working environment. Her teamwork and leadership qualities were evident when I look back at how she coordinated others in the implementation of most of our signature events and strategic initiatives. Aside from her technical skills, Stephanie is an individual of high integrity and strong work ethic. She consistently displays a willingness to go above and beyond what was expected of her and she often took the initiative to take on additional responsibilities when it was needed. I have no doubt that Stephanie’s dedication, skill, and admirable character make her an excellent fit for any organization. I believe that she will thrive and make significant contributions.”
