    I received tons of unsolicited advice when pregnant— don’t drink, get lots of sleep, etc. Yet no one warned me that I would be expected to forfeit my identity. Poof— Erica is no longer Erica, I’m Mom. Don’t get me wrong; I love being a mom, so much so I’ve done it twice over now.
