How can you identify gaps in IT service quality and customer satisfaction?
I like Paul’s ideation here. I’ll also say there’s a CS function here too and knowing how a customer measures success (eg adoption, platform innovation, ease of use, service responsiveness, cost to value attainment, etc) will assist in forming up both a qualitative as well as a quantitative measurement system that informs the customer outcome attainment. That begins with customer empathy then mapping CS engagement and technology appropriately to drive towards the targeted outcomes. Most customers love to ‘partner up’ for such aims …

What are the most effective email automation strategies for your industry?
Email automation is a broad topic. What we see in the industry is around the notion of building in security and trust but combining that with intelligence for inbound, outbound and at-rest email-based content capture automation (eg extracting it for placement into secure content management platform containers). Doing so allows for convergence, allows for improved digital hygiene, allows for workflow automation and powers up the value of email’s unstructured data to be available for Generative AI. Sprawl isn’t our friend and email in legacy form is a poor system nor engagement and an ineffective content silo - we must also ‘assume breach’ and digital hygiene is one way to bake in a resilience strategy.

What techniques can you use to manage stakeholder expectations in IT strategy consulting case interviews?
This pertains to outcome goal linkage - it’s vital that client outcome targeting is a central focus for any services or technical solution overview. Achievement of measurable outcomes is critical for a joint consensus on solution outcomes.

This paper discusses the considerations and opportunities available to emerging economies as they aim to leverage localized intellectual capital, drive their ‘tech’ economies forward and provide for economic stabilization and employment opportunities within their economic regions.
Emerging economies including nations in Africa, Middle East, Asia-Pacific and Central/South America are well poised to participate in the global economy specific to science and cloud information technology. For economies with low labor rates and high university-level graduation rates in technical fields of study there is a significant opportunity to participate and/or lead in the high growth information technology (IT) field enhanced by the proliferation of cloud-based Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) technological innovation. When combined with social and mobile platform availability and on-demand cloud platforms, emerging economies can participate in and take advantage of this new realm in IT to benefit their local economies and drive innovation at comparable speeds as their counterparts in the industrialized nations.Other authorsSee publication -
