I can not agree...Platform is dead, We have seen too many failed examples on the idea of platform... The concept of a centralized platform, as currently envisioned by many corporations, is fundamentally flawed and lacks practical value. Labeling a platform as 'universal' does not mask its inherent disadvantages and the significant discrepancies between the platform’s offerings and actual business requirements. The attempt to generalize services under one umbrella often results in a platform that is broken—unable to meet the diverse and specific needs of different business units. This disconnect forces each business line to inevitably develop their own tailored solutions, thereby duplicating efforts and squandering resources that could have been more effectively allocated. In essence, while the platform aims to be a one-size-fits-all solution, it falls short in addressing the real, high-priority needs of its intended users...

Posting this for John Skender and others who weren't able to make it to K24 or at least this presentation at K24. Much of the presentation was a live demo explaining how to use now-sdk but you can also check out the list of features expected for Xanadu+ release which were announced at the show including Sandboxes (controlled availability), Dev Studio Pro-Code, script level granularity (versus scope level) for modern JS features (including global) and the yet to be re-named Fluent DSL for defining ServiceNow metadata as code.

𝗺𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘅 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟. I've been using mTAIL for the past 3 years and really like it. 𝗺𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟 is a powerful log monitoring tool for Windows. Here are its top features:  1. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: Continuously displays new log entries in real-time. Simply drag and drop the log you want to monitor into the mTAIL window. You can also erase existing logs from view to start fresh.  2. 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: Monitor multiple log files in separate tabs or windows. I use this to monitor both client and server logs together by opening multiple windows.  3. 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: Custom rules to highlight and filter important log entries in real-time. For instance, you can highlight DEBUG logs or logs with a particular string.  4. 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: Quickly find specific log entries with advanced search options.  5. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗹: Set how often it checks for new entries.  6. 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Supports regex for searching and highlighting.  7. 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲: Adjust fonts, colors, and layout for better readability.  8. 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Trigger alerts based on specific log entries.  9. 𝗟𝗼𝗴 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: Continues monitoring even when log files are rotated, which is very convenient in real-world scenarios where log file rotation is common. 10. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆: Lightweight and uses minimal system resources. Remember to close unused instances of mTAIL from the system tray.
