We were grateful to have the opportunity to share the work of our restaurant partners at Collective Fare and Brain Food. Our restaurant partners create thousands of meals every week for the communities that we serve. Eleven Madison Park has financially supported these partners over the years through our restaurant fundraising model and hosting our fundraising events. Through our family meal program, we connect restaurant fundraisers with the small businesses that Rethink Food supports. By connecting three like minded communities we were able to share some of the diverse cuisine of our city with the team at Eleven Madison Park. Events like these bring the diverse culinary scene of our city together one meal at a time. A huge thank you to the amazing teams at Collective Fare and Brain Food for creating such a wonderful meal. We're also incredibly grateful to Daniel Humm and the entire Eleven Madison Park team for their continued support, significant fundraising efforts, and hospitality.

We’re trying something new… and bringing our partners together with family meal 🍽️ Last week, our incredible Rethink Certified partner Zaab Zaab brought a delicious family meal to the incredible team at Crown Shy (we also got an incredible tour of SAGA) ✨ As a Rethink Certified partner, Zaab Zaab Talay has served over 100K meals since May 2020, supporting 11 community organizations. They continue to innovate, expanding their impact with shared transportation and homebound meal support 🌱 Crown Shy has served over 43K meals since April 2020 and has helped us with our fundraising efforts 🌱 Together, these partners are making a huge difference in our mission to address food insecurity and we couldn’t be happier to bring them together in this beautiful way 💚 Stay tuned for more family meal collaborations… 🫶🏻 #crownshy #sagarestaurant #nycdining #nycfood #nycrestaurants #FamilyMeal

This week we celebrated the SNAP Restaurant Meals program at Jamit Bistro, along with our own Rethink Food partner, Brain Food. This is a great opportunity for individuals over the age of 65, disabled or experiencing homelessness to use their #SNAP benefits to purchase hot meals. Thank you to Senator Persaud and NYS Office of Temporary & Disability Assistance for making this a reality. If you are a restaurant interested in joining the program, or an individual seeking eligibility information, you can find out more here: https://lnkd.in/e-PRip4m 💚 #snapbenefits #nyc #foodinsecurity

Remember when we asked you what the restaurants had in common in our previous post? They are all fundraising restaurant partners! 🌱 Big shout-out to our incredible fundraising restaurant partners in New York City, Brain Food, 8 Bit Bites, Marlow Bistro, Beatstro, Gyro King, Bronx Drafthouse, Atomic Wings, and Blue Park Kitchen. 🙏 They have seamlessly integrated fundraising into their diners’ experience. Their efforts support Rethink Food’s mission, providing high-quality, nutritious meals to food-insecure communities while supporting small, local restaurants and food businesses. 🍽️🌱 This initiative extends beyond NYC, building upon Rethink Food’s flagship fundraising partnership in Miami with The Genuine Hospitality Group, LLC and its restaurants Amara at Paraiso and Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink. Together, they’ve raised over $890,000—the equivalent of 180,000 meals distributed to local communities impacted by food insecurity since the beginning of our partnership in late 2021. 🙌 Huge thanks to all our restaurant partners for their unwavering support and dedication! 💚 If you’re a restaurant or food business interested in joining the movement, swipe to learn more and contact us: https://lnkd.in/dCGM2BKR #fundraising #nycfood #nycrestaurants #restaurantlife #nonprofit #foodinstagram #foodinsecurity #foodwaste #restaurants #restaurantweek

Very inspired by Daniel Humm's insights on food, responsibility, innovation, and inspiration in his interview with The World's 50 Best Restaurants. “It was really about the language of food, the power it holds, and the difference it can make.” At Rethink Food, we witness daily the profound impact food can have, echoing Chef Humm’s dedication and passion. We couldn’t agree more that “the magic of cooking really comes into play when a chef creates something with something very humble,” which is something our inspiring chefs at Rethink Food do every day. Chef Humm discusses the transformative journey of Eleven Madison Park, from its roots in luxury dining to its current plant-based focus. His commitment to sustainability and equity in the food system is truly groundbreaking. His leadership at Eleven Madison Park and his tireless efforts with Rethink Food have been instrumental in our mission to ensure that nutritious food is accessible to all. I am deeply grateful for his contributions and the hard work of his incredible team. Thank you to The World's 50 Best Restaurants and San Pellegrino / Acqua Panna for highlighting hospitality leaders who are committed to shaping a better food system. I highly recommend reading the full interview to gain deeper insights into Chef Humm’s vision and journey: https://lnkd.in/ev3yDM_z.
