Change is in the air at this year's Paris Olympics. 🏅 Not only is it a stage for athletes, but it also marks a turning point in sports advertising with many brands integrating platforms like TikTok into media plans to resonate with a younger audience. These advertisers are competing within “a massively changing media landscape in sports, with content creators, social platforms, and streaming products leading the way,” said Dan Conti, head of sports marketing at PMG. Digiday shares more on how e-commerce elements and captivating short-form videos are winning the Olympics audience already at the link below.
This year’s Paris Olympics won’t just be a stage for athletic endeavors — they’re a milestone in sports advertising. Perhaps the biggest change is TikTok.

This week, our PMG Gives Back initiative equipped students in foster care and unsheltered youth throughout Dallas and Fort Worth with much-needed back to school kits. 🎒 We managed to gather, pack and donate backpacks full of essential supplies and inspiring notes for After8toEducate and the Sydney Paige Foundation benefitting Ticket to Dream. Thank you to our generous PMGers who made a difference in our communities by empowering these students to confidently step into their first day at school!

Independent digital agency Mod Op this week made its largest acquisition to date, combining with Canadian creative digital agency Evans Hunt as it grows its artificial intelligence and creative offerings. Adding Evans Hunt’s more than 100 staff brings Mod Op’s total global headcount to 425, according to the company. Founded in 2008, Evans Hunt brings its specialities in web development, particularly in user interface and design in the travel, energy and telecom sectors, to the Mod Op network as the agency expands in North America. Miami-based Mod Op acquired another Toronto marketing agency, Context Creative, about two years ago. In this piece by Antoinette S., we speak to Eric J. Bertrand, and Parks Blackwell of PMG.
