Building Future Leaders in Commercial Real Estate! On June 25th, GRACRE hosted a Breakfast Panel featuring the General Assembly Building project. The DEI committee invited interns from area companies to this event with the aim of raising awareness about GRACRE and career opportunities in commercial real estate. Longtime GRACRE member, Clearwater Ventures is proud to continue its work in environmental restoration, providing water quality improvement and habitat protection projects that help satisfy the development communities' permitting requirements and mitigation offsets throughout Virginia. Clearwater Ventures was formed with the underlying belief that economic vitality, growth and development and the restoration and protection of our environment are compatible objectives, not mutually exclusive. Clearwater currently operates over 13 restoration projects within Virginia, including a wetland restoration project currently underway, Triple B Mitigation Bank, located in Henrico County, VA. For this project, Clearwater is working with landowners to restore agricultural fields into their natural wetland habitat. This project will help improve water quality in the Greater Richmond area, provide increased habitat for native plants and wildlife, benefit the landowners economically, and provide wetland mitigation offsets.
