As your trusted spreadsheet, I, uh, excel in many fields—but resource management is not one of them  😓 The truth is, I’m not good at keeping tabs on work hours, time off, billable and non-billable utilization, task dependencies, budgets, and due dates, no matter how hard I try 😖 Instead of pushing me past my limits, replace me with a dedicated resource management tool—you know, something flexible that can pivot under pressure and isn’t so disconnected from your tool stack. I heard Float is pretty great, and they have a free 14-day trial 🤷 Maybe give that a try? 🤔

    Creative Ops Lead

Creative Ops is more than just "how many hours in a day". It's empathy, it's (sometimes) translating the creative brain, it's effort vs. impact, it's *LISTENING* and it's adapting. Most importantly though, it's understanding our clients' KPIs with the mutual understanding that their success is ours. The folks at Float.com listen, and they get it. Thanks for the chat, homies! ✨ Stella Inabo Siobhan Hayes

“We cannot afford to overload our teams because their satisfaction drops, their inspiration drops, their creativity drops, our product drops, and our bottom line drops.” Print that on a T-shirt! 👆 This line from Jessica Jones, the Creative Operations Lead at Paper Moose, is the inspiration behind our newest tactical guide to avoiding resource overallocation. It features proven advice from resource management pros—we’re looking at you, Lauren O'Halloran, Angela Faunce Leaf, and Thomas Walters—on how to set up a solid process to allocate work based on your team’s true capacity. 🔗 is in the comments. We hope it helps 🤞

Earlier this year, Float completed a 12-month journey to becoming a certified B Corp, reflecting our commitment to measuring our success not only in profits but in purpose—prioritizing our team’s wellbeing, the community, and the environment 🌍 Our CEO and Co-Founder, Glenn Rogers, recently sat down with SmartCompany to share how we got here, and why the B Corp certification has been as beneficial for our business as it is for our people 💙 Here are three important takeaways from our B Corp journey so far: ✅ A powerful purpose is a shared purpose: crafting a mission is crucial, but a B Corp certification goes a step further to unify our team around a shared, impactful purpose ✅ High performers value great leadership: our investment in becoming a B Corp shows that we walk the walk when it comes to employee wellbeing and transparency ✅ The B Corp badge is a shortcut for seeking values-aligned candidates: the logo attracts candidates who share our values, helping us build a stronger, more aligned team Read the full article here → https://lnkd.in/df9DeFwH #BCorp #BCorps #BTheChange

I'm just a spreadsheet Standing in front of a people planner Asking to be replaced by a dedicated resource management tool with real-time updates, budget trackers, drag-and-drop scheduling, a collaborative interface, automated reports, integrated time tracking, customizable dashboards, and forecasting and scenario planning features... So I can stick to my columns and rows 😫
