🌊 Celebrating Another Win for the Ocean BlackRhino! 🌊 We're thrilled to share that Diamond Offshore recently secured a new contract with BOE Exploration & Production LLC for the Ocean BlackRhino in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. This contract spans a minimum of 180 days, with a total value of approximately $89 million, excluding mobilization and additional services. Work is set to commence in direct continuation of the rig’s final contract in West Africa late in the first quarter or early second quarter of 2025. Recently, our client Woodside Energy celebrated first oil from the Sangomar Project in offshore Senegal. Diamond Offshore would like to recognize Woodside for their role in the country’s first oil development project. We have been a proud partner on this project since 2021, initially utilizing our drillship the Ocean BlackRhino and later joined by the Ocean BlackHawk the following year. The 23-well development campaign will wrap up in August this year when the BlackRhino completes her final well. This important milestone could not have been realized without strong partnerships with our client and third-party service providers, which started well before that first well was spud three years ago. Diamond Offshore is proud to announce that by the end of 2024, 100% of its Blackships will be equipped with Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD). In early 2024, we introduced MPD Supervisors offshore to optimize operations. Over the past 14 months, Diamond Offshore has achieved significant milestones in MPD implementation. Notably, four vessels successfully drilled wells with a remarkably narrow 0.2ppg drilling window—a staggering 86% reduction compared to conventional methods. We have also distinguished our company as a pioneer in deepwater Surface Back Pressure completions in the Gulf of Mexico, underscoring its approach in the offshore drilling sector.    The MPD system allows Diamond Offshore to compete for the highest day rates in the 7th-generation drillship market. It will enable us to execute wells more safely and efficiently for our customers because we can better manage the pore pressure. Looking ahead, Diamond Offshore remains steadfast in its pursuit of advancing MPD capabilities, guided by a commitment to innovation, operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
