IBM, AI and BLACK GIRLS CODE. What a weekend and wonderful #IBM opportunity for learning tech skills, building confidence, sparking creativity, and showing Black Girls Code tech divas that they have a place in the world of AI and beyond. I’m still at it! What made this IBM Tech Workshop so special was the incredible energy, enthusiasm and presentations of the brilliant #futuretechbosses. They were eager to dive in, ask questions, and get hands-on with chat boxes and WatsonX Assistant technology. And the IBM and BGC volunteers? Under the supreme leadership of @Annette B. , they were absolutely wonderful, guiding the #techdivas every step of the way with patience and encouragement. #proudibmer It was AI fun; it was Tech Diva Chatbox Talk with WatsonX; it was IBM! I want to thank IBM and Black Girls Code for an amazing event 🎉 This past Saturday, I had the privilege of taking my sister to her first workshop and introduction to AI. Growing up without a car, it was challenging to attend events like this one, and lacking such opportunities in my school. I am grateful to now be in a position to support my siblings. Black Girls CODE is doing incredible work to ensure young girls are exposed to tech at an early age, and I am deeply appreciative of their efforts. #tech #IBM #DiversityInTech #BlackGirlsCode #FutureLeaders #TechInclusion #DevSecOps #MLOps #MLSecOps

Last week, I had the wonderful opportunity to travel to our HQ in Chicago to host and assist Black Girls Code for their summer summit! As a sponsor, CCC Intelligent Solutions hosted 30 middle schoolers aged 10-14 for three days. The students learned to train a computer to recognize their own images, sounds, & poses to create machine learning models by Teachable Machine. The students were engaged, inquisitive, and excited throughout the entire summit. This was such an enriching and exciting week for me and I am thankful that CCC Intelligent Solutions supports partnerships such as these. Here's to developing our future talent! Special thank you to Gelareh Kalantari and her team for partnering with myself on the planning for this event. It couldn't have happened without you! #ccc #bgc #tech #womenintech #blackgirlscode
