📰 #Drone updates we're tracking: DIU has successfully conducted flight operations between a UTM system and Blue UAS platforms What’s new: The Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) recently demonstrated secure drone operations using advanced technologies during a three-day event at the NY UAS Test Site. Who was involved: The setup included AgEagle Aerial Systems Inc. eBee VISION and Skydio’s X2D drones, controlled by UXV Technologies SRoC ground control stations. Why it matters: The integration of commercial technologies with DOD-grade systems provided a visual situational awareness tool that can assist with air traffic deconfliction, flight area allocation, FAA compliance, and UAS identification.
