  • Federal Insights Exchange Featuring USPTO on July 31 Ensuring enterprise resilience in a product driven environment – USPTO is four years into our New Ways of Working, with business value delivery very much delivered by product centric teams. We have seen tremendous increases in delivery velocity and one of the biggest hiccups to sustaining this velocity has been unexpected dependencies being impacted. As we focus more team energy towards delivery, we need to make it easier and more seamless to leverage resilient enterprise capabilities. We’re pleased to host a fireside chat with John L., Senior Strategic IT Operations Advisor from USPTO for an in-person session at General Dynamics Information Technology. • We are delighted to spotlight our American Council for Technology - Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC) Summer 2024 GLOW Cohort! Cindy Trimboli-Ascher, PMP, CGRC-Ascher I am a Director Consulting Services at CGI Federal supporting two CDM contracts for CISA and I co-lead the Mental Health Matters Member Resource Group for CGI. I participate in the Career Advocate Program (CGI’s Mentoring program) and I am actively involved in many of CGI’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts.   In the GLOW Program, I am enjoying connecting with a strong group of women who, no matter how high up they are in their companies or the government, I realize are having all the same feelings, challenges, and experiences as I am. Knowing I am not alone and hearing how they are dealing with the same issues is helping me look at and address situations differently. #womenleaders #leadership #professionaldevelopment

  • Federal Insights Exchange Session on July 31 – Insights from Amy Haseltine, GSA’s Assistant Commissioner, Integrated Award Environment, Technology Transformation Service at 2:00PM GSA launched the Integrated Award Environment (IAE) in 2006 as part of OMB's E-Government and Lines of Business initiative. IAE had two major goals - 1) to streamline the application process for those seeking contracts, grants, or loans from Federal agencies, and 2) to enhance the accuracy, security, and transparency of Federal award data. Nearly 20 years later, IAE has grown into a mature, high-profile program that has largely lived up to its original vision, easing the burden for government's partners, and cutting costs in the award process. Many exciting improvements are still to come. Register today - https://lnkd.in/eQsmGdxc For questions on the Federal Insights Exchange program, please contact April Davis at adavis@actiac.org.

  • We are delighted to spotlight our American Council for Technology - Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC) Summer 2024 GLOW Cohort! Anna Thompson I am a Section Chief Contracting Officer of the Voice and Data Section for the Telecommunications Branch in the Office of Information Technology Acquisition at the Internal Revenue Service of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. In my role I manage a team of Contracting Officers, Contract Specialists, and support personnel that manage the solicitation, award, and administration of contracts that support telecommunications at the IRS and Department of Treasury. In the GLOW program, I have been appreciative of establishing a connection and relating with other women in leadership. Learning about our similarities and differences has allowed me to see myself through another perspective that I was not aware of and has helped me to see more potential in where I can be intentional about my career as a woman in leadership. So far, this program has empowered me to see beyond the limitations that I have placed on myself and has inspired me to lean into the potential that I can have an impact in my career. #leadership #womenleaders #professionaldevelopment
