Think perpetual producer licenses are easier to maintain because they don’t technically expire? Not so fast! Producers and those who manage them still have to track CE credits to keep resident state licenses in good standing. Failing to do so can mean lapses in resident and nonresident licenses and can interrupt your insurance business. Learn why you’re still spending too much time and money manually managing resident and nonresident licenses for producers in perpetual license states. https://hubs.li/Q02H8nld0 #Insurance #InsuranceCompliance #InsuranceProducer #Insurtech

Last week, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) and the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) held their annual bilateral meeting in Hamilton, Bermuda, to discuss strategic priorities on issues of mutual regulatory interest. Participants from NAIC leadership included President and Connecticut Insurance Department Commissioner Andrew N. Mais, President-Elect and North Dakota Insurance Department Commissioner Jon Godfread, and International Insurance Relations (G) Committee Chair and Nebraska Department of Insurance Director Eric Dunning. Each side provided insights into their respective jurisdictions on several topics, including climate risk and resiliency, recent market developments, private equity ownership, and various initiatives at international standard-setting bodies. Thanks Insurtech Insights for sitting down with Alex Leinweber! Check out what he had to say!
Alex Leinweber, VP of operations at AgentSync talks producer to carrier relationships and the future of insurtech, at Insurtech Insights USA 2024 in New York last month. He says: "A big focus is on trying to knock down the barriers for the producers, for it to sell in the industry. Really, that producer to carrier relationship [is about] trying to streamline that producer experience and make that as painless as possible." #insurtechinsights #insurance #carrier #partnerships #insurtech
