I find it incredibly helpful to take some quiet time to look back over the past months and really think about what I've accomplished. I make a detailed list of projects I've worked on, goals I've hit, and any extra responsibilities I've taken on. Being specific is key here—it's not just about saying "I did a good job," but detailing exactly what I did, how I did it, and what the results were.

One thing i've found helpful that effective performance evaluation depends upon the way you present your hard work you have done the whole year. Focus more on the numeric data rather than using subjective terms like i have worked hard, i have completed all the projects before deadline. You can rather present it like - I have increased sales by 20% this year, I have successfully completed 10 out of 12 projects ahead of the deadlines, This highlights your efficiency and ability to meet deadlines effectively. Conclusion- Numbers speak louder than words, for they tell the story of truth without bias or embellishment.

Be a detective! Dig up your goals and track your progress. Did you crush them? Awesome! Champion your story! Jot down specific examples of your wins - that project you aced, the client you impressed. Two-way street! Craft thoughtful questions for your manager. I'm curious about career growth if you don't mind. Now's the time to ask! Self-reflection is key. Identify areas for improvement. Be honest, but focus on growth. Feedback is a gift! Approach it with an open mind. Don't get defensive - use it to become even better!

I would say performance evaluation is not an annual process, rather it’s an ongoing process. However today in companies the evaluation process is mostly annual. So, to come out stronger and effective every year, I would recommend that every employee should keep tracking their deliverables against the KPIs at-least monthly. Also a very effective way of keeping your performance and manager expectation is check, is to share monthly progress report of your deliverables and seek input from manager. This process actually makes the annual evaluation process easier and more data and instances driven, rather than it being a subjective dialogue.

I think there is 3 things are very helpful for this. First of all, Preparing specific examples of your achievements, challenges you've overcome, and instances where you've demonstrated key skills or competencies. Use metrics or data where possible to quantify your impact. Second, To prepare thoughtful questions to ask your manager about your performance, career development opportunities, and the organization's goals and the last one is to approach the evaluation with a positive attitude and be open to constructive feedback. Use the opportunity to clarify expectations and discuss your career aspirations.

Collect data and examples that demonstrate your accomplishments. This can include metrics, project reports, emails, and feedback from colleagues. Concrete evidence supports your claims and makes a strong case for your performance.

Prepare to discuss compensation by understanding the organization's pay structure and your position within it. Be ready to negotiate based on your performance, market value, and contributions to the company.
