NYX Hotel Dublin Launches 'Art Lives' Competition, Inviting Emerging Irish Artists to Showcase Talent

NYX Hotel Dublin today announces the launch of its inaugural 'Art Lives' competition, an exciting opportunity for budding Irish artists to have their work displayed at the capital’s stylish and one-of-a kind hotel, located at Portobello Harbour.

With an impressive €1,000 cash prize and a one night stay at NYX Hotel Dublin on offer, the ‘Art Lives’ competition aims to celebrate local artistic talent while enriching the hotel's ambiance with fresh creativity from Irish artists.

Inspired by the vibrant energy of Dublin's streets, creating high-end design with a Dublin edge, NYX Hotel Dublin is where style meets local spirit and where bespoke art provides the backdrop to each stay. Creating an eclectic and inspiring atmosphere for guests to enjoy, the winning artwork will join an impressive array of art pieces by well-known Irish artists already adorning the interiors of NYX Hotel Dublin including, Shane Sutton, Niall Staines, Shane O’Driscoll, Art Loves, and Janine Jordon.





The competition invites emerging artists from across the country to submit their original artwork for consideration. The selected piece will not only win its creator a cash prize but also the chance to see their masterpiece displayed within the stylish confines of NYX Hotel Dublin with a two-night stay at the hotel to witness first-hand the impact of their art on the hotel's character.

A finalist shortlist will be curated by renowned interior designer Suzanne Garuda of Garuda Design, who crafted the vibrant interiors of NYX Hotel Dublin. The final winner will be chosen by the hotel's guests, ensuring that the selected artwork resonates with and enriches the experiences of those who visit NYX.

Registration for the 'Art Lives' competition are now open at nyx-hotels.ie and will be accepted until 7th June. Once registered, artists will receive all information regarding submission details.
