Are you within walking distance of the beach? You seem to frequent there a lot.

I bet @OneBigClam would have some nice shots to contribute to this thread and could maybe tag a few other photographers if he were feeling so generous [emoji14]

I go like 4 days a week. And yeah someone gave me shit for the trash can already. [face_plain]
Hey, we're just helping you become a better photographer! That's awesome. Do you just chill at the beach or do any kind of beachy sports? Surfing, diving, etc.
Very nice!

Photobucket has sucked for awhile now, get with the times! [emoji14] does the upload feature not work as well on the boards as it sits on tapatalk?
What? Photobucket is now charging hundreds of dollars a year to use it as a hosting site, so all the stuff I already have on there I can no longer use anywhere else. Not sure what that has to do with tapatalk.

I figured that you had the photos somewhere else than just photobucket and your issue was deciding how to display them since photobucket doesn't let you link anymore. That sucks if you don't have any other digital copies.

Oh, I gotcha now. No, I have them, it's just the idea of reuploading them. Ugh.

Anyways, we're getting off topic. I'll post some stuff tomorrow maybe. :)

No. This is out in the everglades. There are canals all through here (idk if youve ever seen a google map of it but its pretty cool to see from above) and they can be in there, but I've never seen one like that. I've always had to go out to where they are. They are very cool to see.
Nice. Every Florida meme I see shows alligators everywhere stop I wasn't sure lol.

@Narcoticmind is also on the east coast. Maybe he's got some cool pictures to post...

Here's a pic I took of some benches having a party and doing a conga line

So many wild benches where you live. Do they disrupt the ecosystem?

Last March I went to a rock climbing event in Red Rock Canyon in Nevada. They just opened registration for this year. Super excited to go back!

They live in eHarmony with the ecosystem as well as the economy.

Climbing there was a lot of fun. Unfortunately though on the first day we got rained out. It's all sandstone and when it gets wet, the rock is more fragile and you can actually damage it by climbing it. They were pretty vigilant about getting people off the rock as soon as it started raining. Hoping there will be better weather this year.

I can't remember if I've asked you this or not. That's ancient country. Do you ever find artifacts from the past, like pottery shards or spearheads?

I haven't found anything, ever. I don't really think it would be possible without some digging, although that would most certainly be illegal because anything old or ancient would be claimed by some archeological agency. In more practical terms, I think most areas with human presence since ancient times are already known and researched. Also, when you think about a barren landscape where you might have been able to find something, there is a large possibility that the huge number of herdsmen that have wandered the area through time must have combed everything.

My general are was generally sparsely populated in ancient times because it's rocky and mountainous mostly.

Time to dump some more (before I won't be able to do so from Photobucket)

That's a few years old, but that lake should look about the same this time of the year

Here's a couple from a spot I've climbed at twice in the past few months called Tahquitz. Did two routes, a 400' and 800'. There's a picture of me trad leading my very first time. Scared the crap out of me and I haven't done it since lol. Looking to try again though. It's a very historical place in terms of climbing. It was cool to see some of the old timers' rusty pitons still on the routes.

@rastaban75 not at all, that's awesome! Was considering making a separate wildlife photography thread. If you'd like to get one state or a birds thread, feel free. Otherwise they fit in here just fine.

Wild life photography definitely takes a lot of skill. I'i e, always admired that genre.

The first and second pictures are awesome - did you use any filters on the lenses to get those shots?
