Armor and Equipment
No matter which starting class you pick in Elden Ring, you'll be able to equip an assortment of armor to project you - ranging from robes and light leather, to chain and heavy plate armor. Similar to other Souls games, the armor you wear can impact how quickly you'll be able to dodge incoming attacks, and some can provide higher resistances against certain types of status ailments like poison and hemmoraging. Characters can also equip up to two talismans like rings or pendants to further boost your abilities.
Each armor set is usually made up of a helm, chest piece, gloves, and greaves or leggings. While no bonuses are given for wearing the full set, you'll be able to pick and choose which pieces of armor best reflect your playstyle, or best used for a given situation.
