Death Stranding Review
okay
Death Stranding delivers a fascinating world of supernatural sci-fi, but its gameplay struggles to support its weight.

Very relaxing gameplay but gets quite tiring and repetitive in the end. But I blame it more on the game's length and unnecessarily long cutscenes in the end that tired me out.
The ending is so exposition heavy it gets extremely frustrating and I played that half-asleep because of the jargon-ridden lengthy dialogues, very reminiscent of jrpgs. Very pretentious at points.
Not my cup of tea, I thought it was too slow and the story didn't quite catch my attention enough to make me stay long enough. Ended up watching someone else play it on stream, but even then, just as background noise because I couldn't force myself to pay attention to it.
However, it must be said that it is beautifully designed and I understand the appeal, I really wanted to give it a chance, so sad I couldn't.

It's amazing. You'll understand once you play.
