As the title says, I can't install the game

As soon as the install process starts, the installer freezes shortly after laying down some initial folder structure and about 5 megs of files.

I am running Linux and have tried different wine versions and whatnot. I've also confirmed that I can still run other installers as normal so it looks like it's not on my end

Have you tried redownloading the installer?

If the issue still persists you can always try to manually extract (or test) the setup files with innoextract -> https://github.com/dscharrer/innoextract

I did but it didn't seem to help at the time.

HOWEVER I did try to once again just let it idle forever even though it didn't seem to be responding and, seemingly, it eventually DID finish the installation so.

Good to know about innoextract, tho. Might give that a go if I run into something like this again, thx for the suggestion
