Does the GOG version contain the Apple Silicon version of the game? System requirements say otherwise while other competitors state M1 Support.

Yes. Installed game shows Kind: Application (Universal) and runs really well.

It seems like you need to run Universal GOG.com games from Finder, not Galaxy though: https://www.gog.com/forum/disco_elysium/native_m1_macbook/post24
