March 8, 2012 - 7:00pm to 11:00pm PST
San Francisco

Mark your calendar for the Electronic Frontier Foundation’s annual birthday bash! Join us Thursday, March 8, for live music, socializing, and fun to celebrate 22 incredible years of defending digital civil liberties. Reunite with EFF community members, and meet supporters who are passionate about free speech, tech innovation, and creative expression in the digital realm.

The evening's lineup will include the geek-infused rhymes of nerdcore artist and DEFCON star Dual Core, the Game Boy music soundscapes of Trash80, and the synthy electro beats of chiptune artist CrashFaster.

The party will be held at Mighty, located where SOMA, the Mission, and Potrero Hill meet. The venue will feature a no-host bar, a dance floor, and a lower volume area for mixing and mingling. Admission to EFF’s 22nd birthday party is $22, or $18 for current EFF members, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Food will be available for purchase from locally-renowned @Fogcuttersf, serving fine comfort foods all over the city.

Attendees of the Game Developers Conference are encouraged to swing by.  We'll be offering a free shuttle from the Moscone Center to Mighty at 7:30 and 8ish, and then from Mighty to Mezzanine near Mint Plaza for anyone who wants to head over to the Mojang party afterwards.  The first shuttle will leave the Mighty at 10 PM, and the Mojang party will continue until 2AM.  We look forward to seeing you there!

EFF is grateful to the fine folks at Humble Bundle for sponsoring this event.
