With the slogan "Connecting Continents for Enhanced Multistakeholder Internet Governance", the seventh annual meeting of the United Nations Internet Governance Forum will take place in Istanbul, Turkey on 2-5 September 2014. The Internet Governance Forum is a multi-stakeholder policy dialogue space first convened by the United Nations Secretary General in 2006 to discuss Internet policy issues. More than 1,500 policymakers, technologists, business sector representatives, Euro parliamentarians, intergovernmental organizations, civil society organizations, and others will be participating in the meeting. EFF's Katitza Rodriguez and Jeremy Malcolm will be participating in insightful presentations and panel discussions this year, and have co-organized essential workshops about digital rights issues.
