The Creative Commons Global Summit brings together the community of experts, academics, and activists who comprise the Creative Commons affiliate network in a different country every two years. This year, CC has expanded their invitation list to include organizations and individuals who want to work on shared projects that advance the cause of the Commons, free culture and open knowledge.

EFF's Director of Copyright Activism, Parker Higgins, and Global Policy Analyst, Maira Sutton, will be leading two sessions: one is titled "Over the Long Terms: The State of Activism on Too-Long Copyright Terms (And How You Can Join In)" and the other is "Unpacking an Activist Toolbox: EFF's Tools and Tips for Effective Copyright Advocacy". Visit the CC Summit event page to see the full schedule.
