Dedicated to the promotion of free expression and innovation in online video, the Open Video Conference will be held Sept. 10-12 at the New York Law School, New York, NY. There are four tracks: tech, policy, open media developers, and creative.

EFF's Director of International Freedom of Expression Jillian York will keynote OVC on Saturday at 9:30 AM. Jillian will speak about the role of video in enabling activists around the world along with the inherent risks that it also creates. EFF Senior Activist Richard Esguerra will also be present on Saturday morning at the Alternative Copyright Education panel. You'll find Jillian and Richard throughout the conference participating in discussions on digital privacy and the effort to design software that will help to anonymize human rights activists.
