Wood Side Chairs
Made of solid wood or molded plywood, wood side chairs are reliable choices for additional seating in a dining room. Wood and molded plywood chairs are modest but stylish, durable but lightweight, and sturdy but comfortable.
Metal Side Chairs
It’s unusual to find metal side chairs that are completely made of metal; rather, it’s more likely to see side chairs with just metal legs, their arms and seats made of a different material. This is because, though it’s incredibly strong and durable, metal can be cold to the touch, so it’s more comfortable for the seat to be made of a more inviting material, like plastic, wicker, or wood.
