Thanks a lot for the critique!

First of all I would like to make it clear - I'm only the photographer, the person in the photo is ~Kairisia.

The two butterflies on the chest and neck were the same as on face and hair - they're not painted. However I agree they appear like that and it results in a nice effect.

I can totally agree that the eyes seem unnaturally bright. I personally don't know the character either, so I'm not able to say how exactly they should look like.

As for the expression - that can be blamed on me - I was the one to take the photo at that moment. I wasn't the only photographer then - in fact I was the second one, so I was taking pictures when the main one had a break. I would like to add that ~Kairisia is the runner-up of last year EuroCosplay competition, so I think she's even more than just a promising cosplayer

In conclusion I think that it was a fair critique. However, it was more centered on the cosplayer and not on the aspects of a photo, like composition etc. I would like to point out that this deviation is posted under the Photography category and not under the Artisan Crafts / Costumery. So as an author of the picture I was more interested in the critique adequate to the Photography section.
