Honestly, I waste money on extended warranties more than a care to admit, so when my Bose QC45 headphones died at almost two years old I remembered that I signed up for this protection plan 4 months ago. I figured it would be a good test case to see if it was worth the monthly ongoing expense. I buy tons of stuff on Amazon.

They had me send the headphones to them via a pre-paid UPS label. They kept me up to date on an almost daily basis. They attempted to repair them, but could not so instead they gave me an Amazon gift card for the full amount of my purchase price even though these things were almost two years old. On a sidenote, these are the second pair of Bose headphones I have had that have died at the two year mark, so I am never buying another pair and switching to Sony.

Only took a week total. Neat.
